We do not guarantee specific outcomes, visual results, timelines, or suitability for any particular purpose.

Assumption of Risk

By engaging with Double Knott Framing, submitting artwork, or using this Website, you knowingly and voluntarily assume all risks associated with:

Transporting artwork
Handling artwork
Framing processes
Installation or display of framed artwork

This includes, but is not limited to, risks of damage, loss, fading, warping, cracking, or deterioration.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Double Knott Framing, its owners, employees, contractors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any damages of any kind, including but not limited to:

Direct or indirect damages
Incidental or consequential damages
Loss of value
Emotional distress
Loss of use or enjoyment

Under no circumstances shall our total liability exceed the amount paid by the customer for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

No Responsibility for Artwork Value

Customers acknowledge and agree that:

Artwork submitted may be original, irreplaceable, sentimental, or of significant value
Double Knott Framing does not insure customer artwork
It is the sole responsibility of the customer to obtain insurance coverage if desired

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Double Knott Framing from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or related to:

Your use of the Website
Your submission of artwork
Any breach of these Terms

Website Use

You agree not to:

Use the Website for unlawful purposes
Attempt to interfere with Website security or functionality
Submit false or misleading information

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to the Website at any time without notice.

Terms and Conditions for Custom Art Framing Services

All Sales Are Final

All products and services provided by Double Knott Framing are custom-made and created specifically for each client. For this reason, all sales are final.

We do not accept returns, cancellations, or offer refunds under any circumstances, including but not limited to:

Change of mind
Dissatisfaction with design choices
Variations in wood grain, texture, or natural characteristics
Color appearance differences due to lighting or environment

Custom Nature of Work

Clients acknowledge that:

Wood is a natural material and variations are inherent and expected
Stains and paints may appear differently depending on lighting, surroundings, and finish
Each frame is unique and cannot be replicated exactly

These characteristics do not constitute defects.

Courtesy Color Adjustment (One-Time)

In the unlikely event that a client does not care for the color(s) delivered, Double Knott Framing will offer up to one (1) color change per frame at no charge, subject to the following conditions:

This option is limited strictly to one color change per frame
The client must supply the new stain or paint they wish to use
No additional color changes will be offered beyond this single courtesy
Structural changes, resizing, redesigns, or material changes are not included
Turnaround time may be affected

This courtesy is provided in lieu of any return or refund.

Exclusions

This policy does not apply to:

Damage caused after delivery or installation
Improper handling, transport, or environmental conditions
Normal wear, aging, or exposure over time

Acceptance of Policy

By commissioning work, submitting artwork, or completing payment, the client acknowledges and agrees to this Return & Refund Policy in full.
